Those lovely people, who braved the adverse weather conditions, to come and see our fourth and final pop-up shop were rewarded with a studio bursting with a beautiful selection of garments and shoes from The Moon And Mars eboutique (stocking the likes of Samantha Pleet, Gemma Degara, StrangeBeautiful, Carin Wester) to try on and then fall in love with!
Just like their slogan says...buy now and keep forever...we certainly bought and forever sounds pretty good.
Thank you to Kate (and also Ian and Vala) we enjoyed ourselves far more than is healthy!

Pop Up 2. Judy R Clark
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 saw Such and Such studio being transformed for the second time in as many weeks, this time by fashion designer (and Harris Tweed devotee!) Judy R Clark, whose intricate and beautiful work had our hearts all of a flutter! We had a great time and hope all those who visited did too.
You can see more of Judy's pieces at http://www.judyrclark.com/ and the work of her also very talented sister at http://www.christineclark.net/

A Month Of Pop-Up's: 1 Nonchalant
Thank you to the lovely Gemma (and Bella) from Nonchalant for turning the studio into a pop-up fashion boutique, bringing gorgeous garments, the most wonderful warrior inspired leather leg guards and even some oysters for the hungry (and brave) visitors. A good weekend had by all!

November:A Month Of Pop-Ups!

November sees a series of Pop-Up events presented by Such and Such at our 105 Brunswick Street studio. Every weekend a different artist, designer or collective will take over the space and make it their own. You are invited to see the results, pop in to one of our pop-ups!
Saturday 5th/Sunday 6th November
For the first weekend Such and Such studio will be transformed into a designer boutique by fashion brand Nonchalant. After working with both Giles Deacon and Amiee McWilliams, Gemma Carver began her own label christened Nonchalant, where she could combine her love of garment construction with a passion for other cultures.

Saturday 13th/Sunday 14th November
Working mainly with Scottish wools, Harris Tweed and lace embellishments, Judy R Clark, nominated designer of the year 2009, will showcase her finished garments as well as giving us an insight into her research and design processes. A bespoke tailoring service will be available throughout the weekend.

Saturday 20th/Sunday 21st November
After gaining a reputation for innovation by bringing creative talent directly to the public with their infamous pop-up shops last year, Go Reborn! will now switch mediums as they produce GR4, a magazine of invited creative content from artists, writers, crafters, designers, photographers and more! Come and explore the results, pick up the magazine and interact within the magazine's
office.

There will be a private view taking place on Friday 19th Nov 7.00-9pm, a ticket for this event is necessary, for more information please email hello@suchandsuchstudio.co.uk
Saturday 27th/Sunday 28th November
Buy now and wear forever! The slogan of eboutique The Moon And Mars, our fourth and final Pop-Up. Stocking the likes of Samantha Pleet and Stine Goya, as well as the more familiar, but equally celebrated lines Rachel Comey and IVANAhelsinki, along with jewellery from Bliss Lau and Triskaidekaphobia. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to see the pieces in the flesh and buy brands rarely available in Scotland.
